“POWERFUL TRACKING POWDER” |
| DITRAC TRACKING POWDER is a powerful tracking powder containing the active ingredient, Diphacinone. Just teaspoon amounts will control Norway rats, roof rats and house mice. | |
| DITRAC is more powerful than most tracking powders so it takes less product to achieve results. The Diphacinone in DITRAC is mixed with a special carrier that adheres to the rodent better than other tracking powders. DITRAC is a restricted-use tracking powder for use by certified applicators and is authorized by USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. | |
| DITRAC TRACKING POWDER is insoluble in water which prolongs the effect of the powder, making it ideal for tough jobs both outdoors and indoors. It is labeled for use indoors in homes, industrial plants, agricultural buildings, and other similar structures. | |
| DITRAC may also be dusted into rat burrows along the periphery of a building. Like other tracking powders, DITRAC should not be used in drafty locations where it could contaminate food or surfaces that come in contact with food. | |
|
RESTRICTED-USE PESTICIDE For retail sale to and use only by Certified Applicators or persons under their direct supervision and only for those uses covered by the Certified Applicator’s Certificate. |
|
| DIRECTIONS FOR USE: | |
| It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. | |
| USE RESTRICTIONS: | |
| Use against the Norway rat, Roof rat, and House mice inside of homes, industrial, and agricultural buildings and similar man-made structures. DITRAC TRACKING POWDER may also be dusted into rat burrows that are located along the periphery of buildings and that are likely to serve as routes of entry into these structures. Tracking powder must be placed in locations not accessible to children, pets, domestic animals, or wildlife. Do not place powder in areas where there is a possibility of contaminating food or on surfaces that come in direct contact with food. Do not place near ventilation duct openings. | |
| SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: | |
| Determine
dry areas where rats and mice will most likely pick up the powder on their
feet or fur and ingest it during grooming. Generally, these areas are
along walls, by gnawed openings and burrows, in corners and concealed
places, in spaces between floors and walls or in locations where rodents
or their signs have been observed. Remove goods piled directly on floor
and place on skids. Use boxes or other obstacles to force rodents to
travel through constricted areas. Give special attention the climbing
ability of roof rats. For this species use suitable cardboard tubes or
wooden tunnels securely attached to rafters or other horizontal surfaces
where rats will pass. Employ tubes long enough to prevent spillage of
powder through the ends. |
|
| APPLICATION DIRECTIONS: | |
| Evenly
sprinkle ˝ ounce (3 level teaspoons) of DITRAC TRACKING POWDER in patches
12 inches long and 6 inches wide. Apply the powder into the rodent burrow
or holes or within walls with a hand bulb or similar duster. Do not use
power dusting devices. Sprinkle the powder in patches in such a manner as
to expose the rodent to it. Patch size may be (but not limited to) 6” x
12” and should be adapted to each situation. For rat burrows that are
located along the periphery of buildings and that are likely to serve as
routes of entry into these structures, place about 5 grams of tracking
powder in each burrow with footpump duster ( about 15 pumps). Close
burrows with soil, loose leaves, or paper. Repeat if burrows are reopened. |
