As raw sewage flows into lift station wet wells to be pumped to treatment facilities, accumulations of sewage, grease, oils, fatty acids, and calcium and magnesium soaps form deposits on the walls. These deposits reduce the volume capacity of wet wells, and by their natural decomposition process, emit offensive odors. To return lift station to optimum efficiency, this accumulation of debris must be removed or substantially reduced. This highly specialized product is formulated to be fast breaking emulsification system possessing degreasing and detergent properties which cleans the vertical surfaces of lift stations, wet wells, and similar treatment facilities. This lift station cleaner is added directly to lift station wet wells in its concentrated form for effortless cleaning. Use this lift station degreaser to prevent grease build-up after scum blanket is eliminated. Allow one gallon of LSC-3 citrus lift station cleaner to drip into influent every 24 hours, this is at a rate of 45 drops per minute to establish ˝ to 1 ˝ ppm.

To free sticking floating digester covers - Pour lift station cleaner around edge of covers and wet down with water. Repeat as required.
For pumping stations, wet wells and sewer lines - Add lift station cleaner directly into force mains and sewer lines as needed to remove grease build-up. Product may be dripped directly into wet wells and pumping stations. Lift station cleaner is not affected by temperature and may be used in sub-freezing temperatures.
To eliminate scum cake and liquefy grease – Through any port or inspection opening, add 20 to 25 gallons of this citrus degreaser immediately followed by the addition of 500 to 2000 gallons of water. Wet down the top surface area of scum cake with water daily. Daily addition of 1 to 2 gallons of product in the sludge compartment will allow effective and continuous treatment of both top and bottom of grease cake. Circulation should be continued as usual.
