Pro Guard Hard Hats comply with ANSI Z89.1-1997, Type I, Class E. Type I hard hats are designed to protect against falling objects (top impact) and are not designed for side protection (lateral impact). Class E (Electrical) is intended to reduce the danger of exposure to high voltage. Tested to 20,000 Volts. Pro Guard head protection models are CE certified and comply with EN 397, CE 0086.
The lightweight shell is made from tough Polyethylene. Pro Guard hard hats are available with pin-lock and two different ratchet suspensions. The standard suspensions are made from flexible Polypropylene and have wide contact areas towards the head. This helps provide long term comfort and durability. A soft brow pad is standard. All hard hat models offer easy head size adjustments between 52 and 60 cm (6.5 – 7.75 inches).
Model SC-30 hard hat comes with a standard pin-lock suspension.
Model SC-30R hard hat is equipped with a ratchet suspension, allowing easy size adjustment by turning the adjustment knob, positioned at the back.
Model SC-30R6 hard hat is equipped with our top of the line six point fabric harness and ratchet suspension.
ProGuard hard hats have accessory slots (30 mm) that accept hearing and face protection products. Use Elvex blades designated with suffix 29 or 30 (such as SA-29 and HM-6029 or SA-30 and HM-6030).
